On Wednesday and Thursday evenings we are offering a 4 course set “Winter menu” for £65 pp, alongside our normal dinner tasting menu (not available on valentines evening)

Valentines dinner bookings will go live on our website 12pm Sunday 14th January. We are offering a 5 course menu for £95 per head. We will also be offering a champagne and caviar experience on arrival for £65 (price for 2), please let us know before hand if you would like this option as it is pre order only.

 Please book below using our secure booking system as we do not take restaurant bookings via email. Alternatively, call 01789 263566 and leave a message for us to get back to you unfortunately we can not always answer the phone during service times or Sunday to Tuesday when we are closed.

For bookings in our private chefs table please email info@salt-restaurant.co.uk to check availability, we can cater for parties of 4-10 people. Dinner reservations are £125 per head for a 6 course surprise menu, and lunch reservations are £85 for a surprise tasting menu, both menus are subject to service charge.

Unfortunately we can not cater for guests with the following dietary restrictions Vegan, Dairy, Egg. Any dietary constraints that pose a serious risk to a customer’s health and wellbeing are taken at the diners own risk. Whilst we take huge care in our food preparation processes, our kitchen is very small and we work with several different allergens on a regular bases. We do cater for vegetarian guests but please make us aware on your reservation.

Credit card details are required for all bookings. They are securely kept with a third-party site called Stripe and will only be used for late cancellation penalties or no show tables.

Our service

Please be aware we do not offer an express service, nor do we offer a pre-theatre menu at any time. Lunch tables take roughly 2-3 hours and dinner bookings take 3-4 hours depending on levels of business and and if any extra courses are taken. We do not rush our food or service and want you to relax and enjoy your dining experience with us.

Restaurant cancelation policy

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any bookings which are cancelled, or numbers reduced within 48 hours of your reservation. Should you not be able to give the required notice to cancel or change your booking, or each person will incur a £35 charge for lunch bookings and a £55 charge for dinner bookings. As of 1st January 2024 if you do not show up to the reservation or cancel without more than 1 hours notice we reserve the right to charge full menu price for your table. If the booking is a special event or pre-booked menu, the fee will be the full cost of the agreed menu.

Chefs table cancelation policy 

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any bookings which are cancelled, or numbers reduced within 7 days of your reservation. The 1st 5 days of the cancelation period will be charged at £45 per head for lunch and £60 per head for dinner, if the table is cancelled 48 hours or less from the booking, the fee will be for the full cost of the menu per head.
